One of my coworkers was browsing the list of sex offenders in the city this morning and informed me that she saw one listed as living on my street. I've known that there have been a few living within a couple of blocks from me, but I checked out the address to find that he lives across the street. Lovely. It made me think of a song from my childhood...

I don't remember there being a verse for sex offenders, but there are more of those in my neighborhood than there are firemen. Ha!
